I have a kuya mini hero deck i can sell to you for $90. Its not even on the market yet, and its the same shape as the legendary gnom. The only main difference is that it is a dropthrough deck rather than a topmount, which i like better due to the lower stance. You dont want a high stance on a shorter board (both the the gnome and mini hero are 28 inches), it will feel way higher than it actually is. Mine is black rather than the white one in the pic.Click for larger image

Depends on what you want to use it for.  For cruising/carving id say loaded but if you want a high performance freeride/dh board i would go with landyachtz or rayne.

I suggest looking online yourself. I bet that you could find a few board shops online that will give you a better selection than newschoolers ever will.

+1 more for Loaded. I've had my Dervish for 3.5 years and it's awesome. I've also ridden the Vanguard, Dancer, and Ceviche, and they were all fun too. The Dervish can carve, slide, is big enough to cross-step and stuff, and is pretty stable at higher speed. It's pretty much a perfect all around board to cruise around on, but not ideal for serious speed/downhill.
