I am an unsponsored skier and loving it because i get my sh*t for free or for half off.

-how this came about is a really funny story actually and i apologize in advance for the long read i will try to keep this under a page if i can.

This is a 100% true story I promise. Remember this as you keep reading..

2 weeks ago i was on my way up to spring board meeting (last shred of the season :) when something happened to me that changed my life forever. I won the metaphorical mega millions jackpot. Try Saying that ten times fast, laugh out loud.
It was a blue bird day and everybody was hot lapping the park trying to throw down their favorite tricks over a month after our local park closed (cannonsburg got a new owner this year and he understands that people love to shred but he doesnt shred himself. i know. its a bummer. how can the owner of the hill be the same person who designs the park if he's not a shredder himself? This question baffles me beyond belief. Well the truth is, I think he probably won the lottery because he has a lot alot of money too. He got the guy who builds the jumps from echo mountain to build our jump line because he is a family friend and he designed the park by going thru transworld and freeskier and tearing out features that he liked. But here in lies my concern:

You and I both know that he didn't actually re-subscribe to freeskier because I could probably write something worthy of going in there myself. He almost did but in reality he actually only read transworld_snowboarding because he got it for free.

I have the dopest outerwear set up ever and I got most of it fo' *free at spring board meeting at boyne highlands. Thanks Saga for sponsoring it, I got a whole new set up for next year on the last day of my season this year. I couldnt be more stoked about anything!

My park was intended for snowboarding and i hate it. I have never mentioned this to Cannonsburg Ski Area but I am now standing up in what i believe in by sitting down and creating this very thread.
