so ive got this pair of delaminated skis, edges are comin off all nice-like. i've tried epoxy; it didnt stay for some reason. so now i've had to use duct tape. it works for a little while, but is there any other way to fix this?
the only real option that's gonna not keep coming apart is to rivet them, i've done it to a few skis and they've held up surprisingly well. do the best epoxy job you possibly can, clamp it with as many clamps that you possibly can, and then rivet around the tips. drill a few holes around the edge and put a bolt and nut through them, and your good to go.
Clean everything with alcohol or acetone, try to get as much loose material and dirt out of the layers. You can lightly sand the pieces if possible as well, helps.
