shits terrible!. i landed and the crotch tore apart and the zipper is like hanging free not attached to anything. and they are not responded to my emails about. please do yourself a favor my fellow NS and dont waste your precious money on this. oh and i forgot the waterproofing sucks...
looks like we have a case of overreacting on our hands. pretty sure Saga will take care of you. i believe most of them are out of the country checking up on their manufacturer and keeping good relations. but fuck them, they're terrible people
Theres your problem. You have those things hiked up like theres a flood problem. or they are just too tight. Your loss though. Still confused about that pic.
First he was a "fucking idiot" for sagging, now he's dumb for leaving them "hiked up like theres a flood problem." Please elaborate, I'm lost and I would be willing to bet that is not why this happened.
i was just kidding i sag them alittle. who fucking wheres them at there belly button. saga sucks i was just trying to make you aware if you dont want to take the advice dont
your a idiot. you have to give a company time to reply to your emails over weekends they probably dont check their emails. chill bro it was ur fault ur wrecked them anyway. clothing isnt made to be bomb proof. shit happens deal with it
No, Saga is a really good company. You can't except them to be checking their emails every 5 mins for bitchy little kids like you trying to get a warranty.
The quality is average, really. For true, hard, thick quality you gotta get Arc'teryx, Salomon (solid shit), Cross, Moment outerwear, maybe Oakley. Those brands give you fully taped seams, better zippers, tougher stitching, etc.
Moment would not be in that list. Yes for 15/15k its really fucking waterproof. Moment doesn't compare to those companies. Saga is still better than Moment since for nearly the same price, Saga gives you 3L 20/20k.
Well, i have a Saga suit, and the quality is good. You pay 400$ for a 3l 20k/20k jacket, what are you expecting? For 400$ you have a pretty good quality/style imo, try too fing a 3L 20k/20/k jacket whit a slim/long fit. You can say Trew, but you pay twice as much, for a quality 2 time better or more. Sorry if im hard to understand, my englisgh is not the best.
i've owned two pairs of pants and two jackets. a suit from the 08/09 season and one from the 09/10 season. both have been just as waterproof as any other 20k (claimed) piece of outerwear i've ever had and i never had a problem with their seams/zippers. and i hate to tell you, but 99% of the rest of Saga owners will say the same thing.
sorry, but Saga gear can take a beating. if you did that to your pants you're obviously doing something wrong.
I put 100 days on my saga gear. Everything from rain, to tits deep pow, to wet sloppy "sierra cement", falling on slushy park jumps. I don't have any rips or tears, nothing at all is falling apart in any way. Most waterproof stuff I've ever owned. I don't know anyone out of my 20+ friends who wear saga that have a problem with it either.
One day, I fell, tumbled, and ended up sliding 20 feet downhill head first on my back. I got up to realize I slid over a pile of rocks that were now exposed by my sliding. There's hardly a mark on the jacket.
I can't vouch for the customer service (it's always been great for me) but I don't know how you could have done that, it really must be a defect.
