Rossignol S4 Jibs or K2 Revivals? (or salomon 2012, line afterbang or blend)

Well those skis are all quite different. If you want a more park orientated ski, go S4. If you want something more powder orientated, go Blends. Both skis will be fine for what you want to do, S4 is cambered, stiff and slays park whilst skiing well over the rest of the mountain. The Blend is a bit fatter, softer and has tip rocker, so it'll be better for skiing pow, but won't ski as well on groomers or be as stable on big jumps.

alright thanks a lot. In that case I'd pick the S4's; I don't go into deep powder to often, and the stiffness will lend itself more to my style.

Ya, my shop also has some volkl ledges but those definitley don't compete with the ski that won the x games. And i've heard that the a-bang are a little to floppy to take outside the park seriously. The k2s are flat which will mean very little pop onto rails and of larger jumps. the blends are more for powder which isn't necessarily my thing. And the 2012s are expensive more (530$). From what i've heard here, on other forums, on freeskier, etc these are the best park/all-mountain twins available to me. I'm getting a whole new setup (boots don't fit, poles are short and one's broken, skis are heavily chipped and begging to lose edges) so I'm gonna get the s4's with rossignol freeski 120's, some Full Tilt Booters and line dart poles. Hey I'm getting rossignol s4 jib's at my local shop for 399$ however they told me that they hade some Rossignol S4 Pommier Skis from 2010 for 299$ still in stock. I asked if they were the same basic ski and the guy said he wasn't 100% sure. So are the s4's from 2010 the same as the s4's from 2011 the same besides the design, like performance wise?

They have been the same skis for years. Go for them.

sick got myself some pommiers sooooo happy, the swing weight is so low, i was popping flat 3s!!! rossignol from now on
