i wouldn't necessarily say its worse for you, you're just at more risk of getting sick because its easier for parasites and other things to go by unnoticed, even if you wash them, my argument was more that we are healthier today with preservatives, and chemicals that we use, and our modern medicine, than you would be with none of these living off food thats 100% natural as it comes in nature.
hell i grow my own food, i hunt quite a bit and the meat i get from hunting probably makes up 50% of the meat i eat all year. I really dont give a shit what i eat as long as it tastes good and isnt infested with something.
what im really trying to get at is that the chemicals farmers spray on non organic and organic food has literally no effect on you. the chemicals that come in foods naturally are going to be more harmful if anything. but neither organic, non organic, or food you pick straight out the ground as it comes in nature is any healthier than the other. the only way any kind of food will be harmful to you is if its infested with something that will make you sick. which happens much more often in nature.
the whole organic food trend is just one of the many ways people are tricked into spending more money. people feel like they are eating better food, and feel above everyone else because they spend more money on organic food. its like the whole hybrid thing. people believe what they see and hear and are willing to spend more to feel above everyone else.
