In this case it was a key element in his description of what he fears. Rational or not it he was just being descriptive. What he said wasn't racist, but one could imply there may be some further social phobias/possibly racially motivated anger towards dark skin. Or perhaps he doesn't like that they are harder to see at night? I dunno...

it was just a really open statement, there was no back up, it was just open for you to imply any stereotype you wanted. i may have chose the wrong stereotype and jumped to conclusions but im just assuming that you were just gonna implying racist stereotypes as your back up for being scared of angry black guys

Judging somebody by the color of their skin is racist. The color of a person's skin shouldn't affect how you look at them or treat them. Why are you afraid of angry "dark skinned people" and not angry white skinned people? the racism seems pretty obvious to me.
