Staying awake until sunrise

i looked out the window and saw the sky getting blue
it's 5.40am amd i havent been home long. official sunrise is at 6am,
so how many of you stay awake until sunrise?
just curious, i've never been awake for a sunrise before

idk, maybe its because sunrise is usually arouns 6am, clubs shut at 4am, so i am askeep before sunrise.

Lots of drunk nights and all-nighters studying have led me to see many a sunrise. Also, not that this was in the thread but the best is driving up to the hill early and watching the sunrise on the way up- so much better than sunsets.

This happens to me on the way to skiing frequently. Too bad I'm usually too focused on not passing out at the wheel or it's too cloudy to enjoy it. Summer sunset on Mt Hood is something I've always wanted to see too.

I could count on my hands the times i went to bed before the sun rise. Its so sick watching the sun rise but after it does, i fall asleep and won't wake up till 5pm hehehe

one sunrise i won't forget is coming home on a train at 7am thanksgiving morning coming down from drugs after 5 straight hours of dancing.  body and mind were both shot but the sunrise rejuvenated me in a way that can't be explained

there's nothing worse than partying your ass off and then suddenly hearing the birds starting to chirp and realizing it's starting to get light out. it's the ultimate oops/aw shit feeling.

I hate it.. Everytime after I went out for the night and the sun is rising, I feel that this day is wasted, because I won't have enough sleep or I'll sleep for the whole day.

its almost 5 am. my friend thought i was passed out and fucked this chick on the couch 3 feet away from where i was crashing. they found out i was awake...awkward. girl was hot though. real nice tatas. anyway, im gonna be up for.a whilr now...

on saint patties day a girl and I stayed on the beach until sunrise. Really nice. cloudy sunrise though so that was disappointing.

Hahaha shit...I wasn't watching. It was just awkward as hell having to hide under the covers not being able to sleep...I knew the girl before he was banging her so I knew what she looked like. Just thought it was important to clarify hahaha.

Hearing the birds chirp and seeing the sunrise is terrible on those all-nighter finals nights. However watching the sun set and rise whilst frying your pants off is amazing.

a couple weekends ago i snuck onto the roof of the DU hockey rink and sat up there until sunrise. it was amazing, I could see the entire city of Denver wake up

I've been up past sunrise or awoken before it for multiple reasons: work, studying, travel plans, partying. While I appreciate the novelty, beauty and tranquility of it I can't say I enjoy the overwhelming tiredness and loss of the next day that comes with it. Thumbs down for me.
