The swing weight on skis these days is insane... The longest skis will still be light as shit.
I'm a 5'4" female and I ride 171 park skis and 176 pow skis... I've ridden my boyfriend's 185 pow skis and man handled the fuck out of them. IMO you can never go wrong with too long... More support, more speed, more pop, more height. More everything.
i'm 5'8 and rode with 182 alpha ones this season and it worked out quite well for me. i ride alot of rails and had no problems with combo's or getting hooked up with 270's and whatnot. with jumps it made it alot more stable for landings and was nice for getting grabs, the swing weight was helpful with spinning too.
i also find my 185 arg's not too much to manage either, dont think i would wanna go to a pow ski thats any shorter. but yeah bigger is better in this situation imo.
I have always had long skis but next year im thinking about getting 175-178 jib ski for park 6'2 for reference. Semi short and 90-100 underfoot is the best. The surface watch life was my favorite ski being 180 and 90 underfoot.
