ehh you'd be surprised. for the first while i had to learn how to play, then theres all the times you prestige and lose your guns and perks and end up doing poorly, and on top of that the fucking around, and you still have bad games.

so yeah, it balances out. i was what 50,000 kills and 35,000 deaths? dat aint baadddd..

I'm gonna stir the pot a little and suggest that there is a difference between tactically skilled players and those who are just coordinated with the thumbsticks, triggers, and lining up the crosshairs (reflexes).  There are people good at both, but you can ignore tactics if you can react fast enough much of the time, and score well.  Same as the flip side.  There are the quickscopin' "snipers" who are more just fast, accurate aimers, and at the same time more tactical, slower snipers covering long ranges with little or no deaths, as like in real life (kinda sorta not really)

it definitely took me some time to get into black ops. i think for my first 20 levels my k/d was like .85 and i hated the game so much. now i'm prestige 3 level 44 and i brought it to a 1.88. i just use the mp5 early on until i get the famas and i've never had a problem with going below 1.0 in the early levels of a prestige
