"The Jamover" Part I & II
Tyrol Basin Ski and Snowboard Area would like to announce "The Jamover Part I & II," Tyrol's annual Spring Jam, will be held on April 16th and 17th! We are so excited to be able to offer you one last chance to play on the snow in Wisconsin this season, and are really looking forward to seeing familiar faces again and maybe some new ones.
Freestyle terrain will be open to the general public for boarding and skiing from 10 am - 5 pm on Saturday the 16th, and from Noon - 5 pm on Sunday the 17th. Ticketing and registration for competitions begins at 9:30 am on Saturday. The $25 ticket on Saturday includes event ticket and entry to Saturday's Rail Jam competitions, and the first 200 ticket holders will receive an event T-shirt. Competitions begin at 11 am. Helmet use is required for competitors. The session ticket on Sunday is $15 for open boarding and skiing.
In addition to the Rail Jam competitions there will be a Big Air competition on Saturday beginning at 2:00 pm. An additional $25.00 entry fee is required for participation in that event and there will be an open snowboard category and an open ski category. The winners of each division will receive a cash prize of $1000!
There will also be NASTAR racing on Saturday (and Sunday if enough interest) on Bumpbuster from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and registration for that will take place at the top of the course.
Our loyal vendors and shops will be on hand on the roof deck to talk to you about the latest and greatest, and sponsor prizes that will be awarded for Saturday competitions. The Tyrol Café hot dog cart will be grilling hot dogs, brats, burgers and chicken sandwiches and offering snacks and beverages. The Double Diamond Bar will be open and some indoor seating will be available if the weather is less than "spring like!" All ticketing and registration will be held in the rental building. Bathrooms are available. Rental equipment is NOT available on this weekend and Season Passes are NOT valid on this special event weekend.
