I dont care if its actually finally happening for real or not. Im too old at this point to be taking these courses that are a waste of time and money, and preventing me from perusing the things that will actually make me eventually successful and an outlier... Made a bad decision accepting the offer of attending a prestigious film/communications school, thinking it was a mature decision and due to a retarded policy on credits and requirements, I am instead stuck with a bunch of 18 year olds in this speech class, and not actually getting to progress any my creative projects at all...
Anyways to the point: I know there have been a handful of threads based on kids writing or giving a speech on why freestyle skiing should be in the Olympics (in regards to the fact that snowboarding has been for a while) so any specific info would help me get this out of the way and present tomorrow. This new search on NS blows though so i cant find anything.
i am too busy with other things and rarely look at the
syllabus... so I was got kinda put on the spot at the last second and
just presented the idea to my Prof, who deemed it a good
topic/acceptable.
It's a "pitch" speech, so my imaginary audience according to my prof. would be the winter Olympic board or whatever exists, and as the name implies - I am essentially supposed to deliver a four minute (mad short) persuasive presentation that "pitches a solution to a problem that you find socially signifcant and meaningful to a target audience."
I'd do something else, but I already blurted this out when asked and have to present tomorrow, on camera. Im super tired and anything similar that you can PM me or throw out there regarding this topic would be greatly appreciated. remembered this is a school/class that doesn't know shit about skiing (outside the image of the typical race suits or pencil triple axis-air ballerina type shit) so it's just about fufilling the specific guidelines.
thanks .bless.
