Im hopping on the bandwaggon and getting a t2i. I am upgrading from an hv30.
reason for upgrade is i wanna get into photography as well as get better film quality.
Only thing left to decide on is glass.
I plan on getting the stock ef-s 18-55mm lens to use for average shots here and there.
as for "aftermarket" glass I really want to get a fisheye for artsy photos. i have heard good things about the rokinon 8mm. as well as Optekas 6.5mm f/3.5. They seem really similar and i need some direction. they are both right around my price range.
i also would like to eventually get a macro lens. and a friend pointed me towards the Canon EF 50mm f/2.5. any advice on a macro for a price similar to the ef 50mm?
If anyone has any other lenses or advice for lenses feel free to drop a little insight. I know you get what you pay for but I am paying for this with my minimum wage pay.. so if you have suggestions keep them ~300$
