I know I am going to get tons of hate for this, but here goes.
After seeing racers getting hated on in every possible way on this site i think people here do need to consider where our newschool movement would be without the existence of race. Many of the people who are revolutionizing park, pow, and big mountain have spent time in race, or moguls, and without the innovation these people have brought, we would probably not be even close to the level we are at right now. And people, look around you, I know that, at my mountain at least, most of the best skiers had spent years racing and are very thankful they did it.
I know some racers can be dicks, but then again, have you seen the amount of hate here? I know this will change nothing, but I just wanted to throw this out there.
