Replying to Another legal advice thread +k
I got pulled over about a month ago for not having an inspection sticker on my window. It was about 8 30 in the morning and the cop smelled alcohol on my breath from the previous night, asked if I was drinking, I said yea, blew a .023. The legal limit for a minor (I'm 20) is .02 but he let me off with a ticket n said I wouldnt even have my license suspended. No Dui, dwi or underage either because I was honest. Guess what i get in the mail today.... A letter from penn dot stating I will need to hand my license in for 3 months. This not only fucks my summer/ social life, I won't be able to mtn bike, which means a lot to me. If your still following, I'm wondering if I should appeal the revocation (already paid the ticket) because the officer specifically said I wouldn't have my license taken. I'm also not trying to lose n be stuck w a pile of court fees. Another question i have is, would the judge not even consider my appeal because I was a minor with alcohol in my system while driving....sorry for the long read but I do appreciate good advice. Thanks
