Exactly. His skiing is damn near flawless.
Style is an entirely subjective, personal thing, and in my opinion Bobby has style...that style being effortless and natural. If anything, I respect Bobby more for not putting a ton of energy into posture, hand position, clothing style, etc. If you've spent 5 minutes around the kid, you'd know he fucking LOVES to shred, and he's about as humble and approachable as a kid in his position could be.
I get why a lot of people don't love his style—it honestly isn't that aesthetically unique or distinguishable— or even more so, why people hesitate to get behind him as the "face of freeskiing", but frankly, that's not really Bobby's fault. He's just a kid who loves to ski who also happens to love to push his own limits and to compete. All this bullshit about him "ruining skiing" and "taking it in the wrong direction" is goddamn nonsense...there's enough diversity in the sport that fans of style and creativity over technicality and execution have enough people to look to for cues as to where "to take the sport".
I truly don't understand why Bobby is so fucking controversial...
