Florida residents? help please

hey guys, do any of you live in Florida?

I'm a fairly recent college grad and I'd really like to move to florida, maybe tampa or somewhere city-ish with a decent younger crowd and job opportunities.


Anyway, my question is - If you live there or are familiar, where are good places to look to move to? Any and all input is appreciated.

(i'm 23, and a business-finance major)

Hey man, I was born in St. Petersburg Florida. I havent been back in a few years, but I know as of recently they are becoming a vastly growing city and my estimate is they will be larger and more touristy than Tampa in probably ten years. I can only assume that the business opportunities are growing fast, plus the social life and party life is baller. Only being about 20 minutes outside of Tampa you have access to more their as well. Definitely a fast growing area including surrounding cities like Clearwater. If it was not for skiing I would be back in a heartbeat.

I grew up in Gainesville Florida and moved to Richmond Va when I was about 16yrs old...
Gainesville is LEGIT! TONS of Florida Gator Coeds... very chill city centered around the Florida Football team... LOTS TO DO!  Beach is only about 1.5 hrs away... There are a bunch of Natural Springs around

ALSO... My family lives in Tampa... I go back down twice or three times a year and ALWAYS have a good time! But Tampa has MAJOR traffic... it takes forever to get anywhere.... If I were you I'd move to Clearwater which is just out of Tampa.. but its right on the beach and there is tons of real estate for cheap!

I live in jacksonville, pretty up and coming big city and jax beach has some pretty good bars and clubs.
