im fuckin losing it not being able to ski. my hills been closed for 3 weeks and going from 5 days a week skiing to zero isnt going well. all weekend i sat around bored out of my mind and watching edits. it just hit me that i have anotther 8 months of this bullshit. who else is going through the same thing?
trying to get one but my mom wont let me even though our backyard is big. same with rail setup but i do sometimes carry my rails to an arena near my house, its fun for like 4 hours
YES I am losing my mind as well. My mountain is still open, but I just missed a week of riding due to mono.. Then I decided to go out despite the fact that my spleen was at high risk of exploding. Turns out my spleen was fine, but I ended up hyperextending my knee super hard and now it is about twice the size of my other knee and I can't stand on it. I have an MRI tomorrow. FUUUUUUU
Word. I'm not going to camp, probably just going with buddies and hanging out at one of their cabin's in hood river. Last year was one of the best trips I've ever had.
Park city closes next week even though we just got over two feet and still have a 138" base. Yesterday was my last day of the season because im gonna be gone next weekend. I have no Idea what im gonna do. Hopefully I will be able to make a summer setup though.
theres tons of fun things in the summer that are just as fun, if not funner than skiing. For example girls, partying, if you like longboarding skating, biking, hanging with friends maybe? mtn biking, the fucken beach dude the beach is epic who doesnt love the beach, making shit tons of money is pretty awsome. I love skiing just as much as you but stop complaining about it no one honestly cares at all. Because you have no life outside of skiing isnt our fault.
my last day of open ski area skiing was today. then i have a couple of more days of hiking post season, and then wait until november, or october if we're lucky. it sucks not being able to ski
I'm fine with the season ending. Time for sailing, fishing, biking, longboarding, offroading, camping, rock climbing, and da beach. There are more things to do in the summer than there are in the winter
my season ended last september and i realised this morning that i am unable to get a job at my nearest mountain so i'm gonna be a weekend warrior for another year. FML
