The difference is that Mark Mcmorris and Seb toutant both have awesome style. That kid was just tossin his salad and I was not too stoked on watching his other tricks.
Sooo sick but honestly i dont want skiiers doing triples.. its just too far they are just gonna turn it into hucked tricks with not a lot of style at all
hahahahahaaaa, I love those hipster kitty things. This one proves a point, the discussion on triples and style is just stupid, you all will sound stupid.
No but seriously, I feel like the impact and momentum of that trick is too much for a regular snowboard. The only way a snowboard would be able to withstand that impact on a big air jump without flexing so much would be if the snowboard was rock hard and had like a steel core.
I'm being serious, how the fuck do you expect the board to not slip out from under you when your rotating as fast as you need to be for a triple and coming out 50+ high.
you people amaze me, sure there was a slight tailpress landing, but apart from that the trick was pretty much perfect, grabbed the whole way, plus it's the first ever switch triple cork. for everyone saying it was sketchy open your eyes please, again apart from the landing that was better than any triple done on skis forward or switch.
really ugly. just what i think. lack of helmet pissed me off. and to be honest i thought he was gonna do it again becasue that landing was real sloppy. just wasnt up to par with that mark kids like a month ago
Pretty sure Mike D mad them all angry (see "History of Freeskiing" episode of Salomon Freeski TV from a few seasons ago) and they're trying to prove him wrong by doing more triples first...forgetting that Arials guys are doing more than that...
do you even know what switch backside is? it amazes me that some kid that rides a shitty 200ft. hill in backwoods NH, with no talent, has the balls to try to call a trick that's so insane to even comprehend, ugly and sloppy. i'd love to see why you think you have any credibility at all to hate on something like that. you're a fucking moron.
