Replying to Summer Skiing - Europe. Advice?

Me and a couple of friends are trying to plan a ski trip for the summer in july. probably 10th onwards. We are having a lot of difficulty picking a destination and have been looking at places like saas fee, hintertux and now folgefonna.
We know that the snow has not been great in the alps this year so not sure if thats the best idea.

If any one has any info on where would be best to go, where to stay etc it would be greatly appreciated. Have tried searching a few things but nothing was too informative.
