Atomic Panic

    I saw these in a ski shop the other day. im considering buying them. anyone know anything about them? how they perform in park,bumps,trees,powder etc.

haha yeah i know. but its not like the websites gonna say anything negative about them. i was just asking for an opinion from someone that has them

ive spent plenty of time skiing all over on em. killer all mountain ski, theyll rip on groomers and are plenty stable at speed, especially for a twin. good in the park, but every time ive been on them they were mounted traditional, so put em at team if youre going to be spending a lot of time in there, +1 or +2 if youre mainly going to be in the park.

as far as a real do anything type of east-coast ski, theyre definitely an awesome choice. if youre going to be skiing in deep snow regularly, keep an eye out for some snoops or the theory that will be coming out next year. a little wider/stiffer than the panic, so theyll serve you better if you want to get after any charging.  otherwise, go with the panic.  87 underfoot makes em plenty playful in the park and on jumps/rails, but still wide enough for the occasional pow day and spring crud/slush.
