I am looking to buy a new pair of skis, I was looking at arw's but theyre 100 underfoot so i decided against them but then i stumbled upon a pair of ar7's with a demo binding, theyre unused and seem to be priced right, $500, but im not sure if i should get them. I ski all mountain, and back country but i also ski park alot considering i work as park crew. Are the demo bindings ok, will they mess up my progression in the park? i can adjust the mount either back or central beacuse of the demos so i figure theyd be good when i ski backwoods. HELP PEOPLE

Demo bindings are ok, the disadvantages are they are heavier then standard bindings and there is also more moving parts and genrally more plastic so they will break more easily then standard bindings. However you can move them as you say, so its kind of like having a marker schitzo binding. If your not worried about weight then I would say go for them. Personally I would say $500 is quite alot though for a ski with a demo binding. Im pretty sure you will be able to find a better deal.
Also to put it out there you may want to look at the new generation of rockered park skis, if you are looking to ride these skis in the powder and backcountry. I have a pair of Armada Thalls and a salomon 2012 as my park skis and the 2012 is so much better all mountain. The Thall is better in the park but nowhere near as good in the powder. So if you are looking for a ski to do everthing on there may be better options. But AR7's are really good, so if you mainly ride in the park they will be good.
