Give me an entire season's material of an average pro, A-and-B-roll.


I can make him look like a hipster, or gangster, or a hippie, or free-spirited, or "funny", or a true athlete, or a loonie, or metal, or a serious, 100% dedicated skier.

It's all about what you show and how you present it, same goes with live personality.

threads for the colby vid, but I'd say that most skiers have personality, but there are only so many chances to present it.

There are lots of shots that can make almost anyone look different (personality wise) then they are portrayed in films.

If only I could have used all of Giray Dadali's interview footage in our film last year.

Also Matt Heffernan and Karl Fostvedt probably seemed like pretty serious people in Collab, but they are normally pretty far from that. We sometimes just cant show everything for various reasons.


Yeah, I know these guys are not pros, but Im just kind of backing up your point.

unless you have actually met every pro and had a conversation with them then you cant say most of them are stiffs.

i mean really, how are you going to get someones personality from something like this:

"so bobby (just an example, this is a fake convo lolz) how stoked are you to win X"

"pretty stoked, had a great run"

"thanks, and congratz!"

I just met a professional kite surfer, and also a pro snow kiter, his name is Damien Leroy, dunno if youve heard of him but he was so chill, he told me to go to his comp, so i went and he introduced me to a bunch of pro surfers and some sales executives in the biz, so legit.

Out of all the pro skiers Simon Dumont actually has a great personality. I skied with him a little bit here in mi and he was pretty chill
