Weight limit of ep pro

What do you guys think is too heavy for the ep pro. I'm about 6'3 and 220 and i think i would be too heavy for this flexy of a ski. But i still want a flexy playful ski

It is a very soft ski, but the biggest factor is still preference. It will be very loose for you, but you might like that. I would really try to call around and find a place demoing them.

i'm about 6ft tall, 165lbs and i have the 2010 ep pro and although i love the ski all over the mountain, i do find it a little too soft for harder/faster skiing i think the 2011 might be a bit better for me (its a bit stiffer)

but for you, i honestly think it might be a bit too soft...
go for something a bit stiffer and longer, i find it even a bit on the short side...

I know the Surface One Lifes are nice and stiff, but if you're really looking for a ski like the EPs, the Renegades might be something to look at. They're stiff as fuck. Porters Tahoe has the last few pairs around.

In my experience, lines aren't stiff. Even my brothers chronics aren't that stiff. they're stiffer than my disorderlys but that's not saying much. I guess it might start to make a difference when you'e that heavy though.

But didn't there used to be both a chronic and a chronic cryptonite? I remember the Cryptonite being stiffer, but I could just be retarded, haha. I'm not even sure if there was ever two different types.

Not only will they be super soft for you, but you will find them to be a little short thanks to the huge amount of rocker. Im 175 and 6'2" and my EPs were fun, but I thought they were about 8-10cms too short, and too soft for any higher speed stuff.

at your size, EP's would be a horrible choice

ON3P caylors, atomic bentchetlers, 4frnt crj, armada jj, etc... all skis i considered, but then got an awesome deal on some EP pros :)

i think otherwise i'd probably have gone for the caylors or bentchetlers, only problem was that the caylors would've costed me a fortune to ship to europe ...

and don't be afraid to go big, i ride 171 park skis and my EP pros feel like snowblades compared to my parkskis, the running length on hardpack is super short with rockered skis like that!

I'm around 200 and used to ski EP Pros. I broke them after about 45 days but I was skiing a lot of hard snow on them. They're wicked fun in soft snow.

at your size i think even the 130's would be soft and playful enough. check those out, my bro picked up a pair from a few years ago on untracked.com for a pretty good deal.
