Looking for a easy to put up one or 2 person tent

just need something for hood this year will be driving out in my friends car, so i am sleeping elsewhere, so i need a tent that is pretty easy to put up and is water resistant or whatever any cheaper suggestions.

spend money and get a comfortable one. May i ask where you are planning on setting up camp?

im really not sure where at yet, would like to do the airfield but i heard you can really only get away with it for like a week before you get kicked out or something. do you have any better areas? i would like to do the parking lot but i doubt that it will work. and im not worried about a big comfy one really i will only be sleeping in it.

go to your local outdoor shop that is really the only way to find a good tent...

Camp at trillium lake like 5-10 min drive from timberline.

I have one of these, of you're sleeping solo and have something to tie it up to, it's by far the best option. way comfier than sleeping on the ground and much more compact for packing.

So thats like a hammock with a roof? And I was gonna say go near the lake. i assume youll be with a group?

yea i am, and i actually used one of those hammock tents hiking the appalaichan trail they are awesome.

but my plans changed now so im going to rig my jeep so i can sleep in the back and hopefully camp in the lot for as long as i can.

yeah, it's a hammock with bug netting and a rain fly. if you're into sleeping outside at all, i recommend it.
