personally i think it would be good to shut down the government, the same way you suspend your daughters credit card account if shes buying a new prada outfit every day of the year.
Because if we dont stop spending, eventually we will face a much much bigger slam when the united states itself shuts down because of world market forces.
I think the farther america goes before its wake up call, the harsher the wake up call is going to be, so if the government shuts down, hopefullly this will be the low point, and america will ACTUALLY begin to recover afterwards with real debt reform so we can be a successful country.
