I live in the East so all of my skiing will be done on hardpack/groomers/ ice. No steep and deep out here. I need a ski that will perform really well all over the mountain but that has enough flex to jib around pop off some jumps and have enough flex to really get some good play out of the ski. It is important that it can be stable on all of the ice and crap on the east coast though. So chronics or suspects? Thanks for the help!!
I have ridden on the suspects for 2 years and i live on the east coast. The cronic is described as an all mountain ski but I plan to buy the suspects again, i love how they ride. Cant really go wrong with either one. Everyone says the suspects has some durability issues but I have never had any, just the normal wear and tear of a park ski.
both skis are very poppy, however the suspects are one of the stiffest flexing skis around. chronics are more of a mid flex. I'd say the suspects will be more stable on the biggest of jumps, but chronics will be a bit more playful while still remaining stable for jumping. Also, chronics have a bit wider footprint, so that adds to the stability and helps with versatility. And then there are the durability issues some people have with the suspects. When you add up all of those factors, I think the clear choice is the chronics
neither, go with armada, i rode chronics and they sucked, no play in them at ALL, no fun to butter or fun, very stiff/ heavy i just didnt like the skis much at all
