Editing YouTube videos...help

Hey guys, so was wondering what the best way would be to go about downloading and editing youtube clips in Final Cut?

As of right now I download them and convert the files to quicktime so I can edit them, but that is a pain in the ass. I know there are better way to go about this...

Also heard there are a few sites that you can edit the clips before download so if you only want 10 seconds of so of a 3min video you can download that part and not the whole damn thing

Any thought?

what internet searcher are you running? im pretty sure with chrome you get realplayer downloader, pretty much lets you hover over a video and a tab come up to download. works for pretty much every video

I just use safari on my mac haha havnt really changed from the norm with that
