Classy yet affordable alcohol.

I want to get a a 750ml bottle for after prom and I'd like it to be some kind of respectable alcohol but not too expensive. I was thinking something like Grey Goose, or Crown Royal. I want to make sure my date will like it too so i think like brandy or cognac is out. Suggestions?

Goldschlager is nasssssty. Maybe for like one for two shots apres ski, but for a night of drinking, no thanks.

151 is awesome. Its got a nice bit to it, but still tastes like rum. Plus you can light it on fire and do some boss tricks to impress your bitty.

Minus the fire part........you must be joking I almost vomited in my mouth just thinking about it, it might be due to the bad experience though. I have been drinking 65% grappa all my life so I am alittle spoiled on high alcohol tastes.

Actually more like Sparkling Wine. Champagne pretty much has to be made in the in Champagne province in France and be in accordance with the Comite interprofessionel du vin de Champagne regulations.

Yeah I used to manage a liquor store.

Go for 151 rum with pineapple juice and malibou. I heard it gets em all numb...Other than that I'm pretty sure flavored Absolut is really good but it's been a while since i drank it

its prom. most girls only like vodka... and the easiest vodka IMO to down is smirnoff passion fruit. its dank. not all classy but it's reasonably priced and like i said... DANK. shots or mixers, perfection

Sparknotes: don't get grey goose, get JD

Grey goose is consistently rated the worst vodka in blind taste tests. In my opinion I just buy the cheapest vodka available :P I'm not buying the vodka for taste, Im buying it to get drunk. However as you are looking for something that hints class, Level is pretty good, not too sure about the price though. Scratch that, get Jack.
Jack Daniels is the best decision about 60% of the time, everytime.

it tastes super good, 50%alc isn't bad either
+ you drink it out of a shotglass, cover it with something, shake it, then shoot it, inhale remaining vapors, then strike the glas upside down on the table,
shake, shoot, strike !

+the vapors give you a super drunk feeling for like a minute :)
if you do it right, you'll start feeling dizzy and all that shit :)

and it's sweet enough for a girl to enjoy it + goldflakes ?! how classy can you get ?

I know someone has said stoli, and i'm gonna say stoli kicks the shit outta goose. You could also check out seagrams 100 proof. it goes down real smooth, and sneaks up alot more than stoli.

First, I am not saying you should drink because you are underage.

If you were going to buy something, I would go with a flavor vodka.  If you are doing shots or mixing there is no reason to buy goose.  You are going to enjoy it, instead I would go with Sky.  Pretty fair in price.  The one thing you need to worry about is if this friend of yours is able to hold her booze, or even if you can hold your booze.  You don't want to be babysitting this friend all night or having her or anyone else babysit you.   

Also remember if you are at a party you can't hoard your booze someone else is going to end up drinking it too.  So do you want to really spend a lot of money on a drunk ass friend. Plus, if you have money left over you can hit up Dennys in the morning for that hangover cure.

thank you- rain without a doubt- I drink a lot of vodka straight and in the under $45 range rain tops em all- organic, distilled numerous times, and the bottle will get her going

and if your going with tequila Cabo Wabo or Cuervo 1800 Gold over Padron any day of the week-

...but on a more serious note, Grey Goose and Patron are so fucking overrated it's ridiculous. Realistically speaking here, it's prom. The whole point is to get bitches drunk, so buy something cheap and mix it. Get a half gallon of Captain Morgan or Absolut or something, and a 2 liter of Sprite or Diet Coke. Save the nice alcohol for another time. High proof schnapps is also a good option. Usually tastes really good and gets you drunk as fuck while still managing to be cheap.

You need to get a single malt, and some cigars.  Macallan 12 is standard issue, good single malt and not too expensive. You cannot go wrong. Don't go ddowning it though, sip it. If you must have ice - only use a single ice cube max - not stupid "on the rocks" american style.

Classy and Cheap do not go together in my world...   but then i'll happily spend a grand on a bottle of a good rare super tuscan at a decent restaurant.....

get some champagne. you can get a bottle of freixenet for around $16 bucks. if you are looking to get tipsy without having to pull your dates hair out of her face as she spews prom lasagna all over the back of your mom's prius, nix the vodka and drink some champagne like a boss.
