asshole, you can't compare what you pay for some flat ass hill in Ontario vs a big resort in the mountain west.

My pay vs what you get in the way of park is true. There are some mountains that have horrendously expensive passes, exceeding $1000 in whatever currency you prefer, and may have nary a park to be found. Others may be reasonable, and you may have a great park. Season pass price =/= park quality.

Dude no one gives a fuck what you think. PC's park was 100 times better last year, we're not mad because we think the park sucks, we're mad because its subpar of the last 4-5 season. PC's park doesn't suck, its quite fun, but we still have the right to be upset because it's subpar.

Holy shit...are you arguing just to argue? I honestly don't understand how you can't grasp the bottom line that PC pass holders are not getting what they've come to expect in terms of quality...especially when said expectations are the result of past experience AND marketing/advertising on the part of PC.

The price YOU paid for a season pass is 100% irrelevant. In some places a "widget" costs $5....others, it costs $10. All sorts of factors determine the price... supply vs. demand for example. The issue here is that the widget still costs $10 in PC, but the widgets they're selling are well below the quality standards of previous widgets, and MORE importantly, below what the widget makers of PC CLAIM them to be.

If you don't understand why people would be bothered by that, especially when they've made personal sacrifices to buy PC's "World Class" widgets, well, you're a moron.

So if your going to play the supply and demand card why don't you actually follow the economic model and go somewhere else. Quit bitching about something you literally have no control of in unless you follow the model. Or is the new economic model in America: "Bitch and Whine Until Your Old Enough To Sue". The only thing they've done wrong is supposedly advertise falsely. Which IMO is a pile of crap, as it seems that most of you guys are experiencing something most lawyers would call unrealistic expectations. No where on their website do they mention being a world class park. They mention "big hitters" and "serious skill" and "playing with the big boys". That's it that's all, oh, except for the funniest thing. Something about actually telling you that there are "countless" photo shoots during the season. (sounds like they'll be closed alot, hmmm?) You guys should get your heads out of your asses and read a bit. But I know you won't, so I disregard your arguments and bitching and name calling in advance...free of charge. And in case your wondering...I'm NOT falsely advertising here, you can take this one to the bank.

this is not a legal case. this is a case of a mountain going corporate on the local core shredders, and fucking them over. for an extreme, counter culture sport, alot of people are sure on the establishments side on this issue. Why are you all taking big bad corporates side over the little people who got screwed over?


and to all you little fucking eastcoast(USA, and canada) park shredders: do you expect PC's park to be a helluva lot better than your shitty little mountain? why? were you surprised to hear that it was pretty shitty this year? why?

So the complaint is the jumps aren't big and poppy enough? Videos of PC make the park look pretty dope to me. In 4bi9's gaper edit one of the jumps was big enough to lay out a dub back so they cant be too small.

Meh, out of my 4 season here, that was the 2nd worst IMO, the year i made Slow! and Fuck! the parks were on point, last year was pretty sick too.

The biggest thing that bothers me about this is that you are all so infatuated with skiing the parks anyway. You live next to some of the greatest mtns/snow in the country. get a shovel and go make your own jumps. They will both be funner to do new tricks on and more visually apealing for filming.

Sorry for double posting but I just need to say that I really don't like this argument. Yes we live in Utah, yes there is amazing mountains to ski and awesome terrain, NO the snow out there is not always SAFE or even good to ride in! Just because we have access to awesome terrain doesn't mean we have to give up skiing park!

To the people complaining about east coaster posting in this tread, why don't you make your thread in the regionals where it belongs?
It would solve all problems.

If it was a thread about some east cost hill, you would complain about it not being in the regionals.

Stop complaining you basically asked for it.
If I lived out west I probably would not even care so much how the parks are, I would be skiing pow.

you do realize there is not pow to be skied every day right? there are actually pretty few days where you ski pow...even with tahoes record year this year, there were more non pow days than pow days

I know, sorry I was just exaggerating. I've been out west once and barely hit the park, there was two pow days but the terrain itself is just amazing even without having a pow day.

That was sick, Kutch.

I take that back... Ive had some of my most amazing days at the Canyons and PC. This year especially has been phenomenal. Its all the best here, but the frequency of snow and layout of the PC area give those resorts the advantage in building bigger and better parks. Like you said, its not everyday that you get blower snow, or good stability to get out and build. Ripping the park in PC is what you do on those days.

what? are you not a park rat? a busted ass one at that? you obviously havent spent much time in utah, because you would know that even when there is pow (which obviously isnt every day), we live in one of the most sunny states in the country, our snow goes to complete shit within 12 hours (more like 1 hour) of the sun cooking it. half of the pow days we get are in 32 degree plus weather (snow at night, sun all day). so what do we do on the 100 days of sun we get where there's no pow to be had? ski park. shut the fuck up and go do some more nosebutters.
