seriously. there were a couple jumps that were perfect at pc this year, but most of them were really really sub par

on the real...oh and also regarding kings, couldn't you do private shoots after the season is over rather than right when you're supposed to be opening it to the public? that was a pretty horseshit move on your part...idiots

and breck jumps are amazing...so safe yet so big

seems to be the case now. its bullshit they still claim to be one of the elite parks in the WORLD just because they won park of the year(in 06?). seems like some east coast parks were better/funner than PCs this year(Loon).

jump one is tiny anyway...jump 5 and 6 are where it's at and freeway is baller too wish i could have hit them this year but conditions sucked when i was there.

they did a good job of making kings just sick enough for a good slopestyle comp, but in terms of a park that is actually fun for the public to learn things, it was a big disappointment.

Take lessons from how to build jumps from Breck or Keystone, because if it wasnt for the fact that the University of Utah is here as well as good snow (in the wasatch that is), all your people that "RIDE PARK CITY" would ride colorado."

I watched that new PC edit their park jumps look like such a joke compared to Breck or any top tier parks. Their fucking lips have 0 pop, you just cant boost that shit, shit you easily dub bottom hit in park lane if you wanted to and its what like 35-40 feet? Just cause you can boost is so big.

yeah i was just in pc. they didnt really keep the park in shape everytime i went there it was beat to shit. still fun park and i was thankful to be shredding something better then where i ride. I only had one chance to hit the jumps and it was alot better then where i ski. stop complaining and be thankful for what you guys have. maybe they dont build it right but they were alot better then what i was used to.

I like canyons the best anyway. 1 park lane almost a feature for every skill level. Small jumps and big. So much fun at the canyons.

You guys should see Jonahs' jumps at Alpine Meadows, those are some beautiful work. Big kicker right now is about 60 to knuckle (guesstimate) with a 350 foot long, steep as fuck landing.

i am sometimes amazed how little ass euro resorts have the sweetest jumps/rails set up while the bigger resorts with "respectable" parks often have deteriorated setups that seem to have been shaped in the winter before ....

is it really that difficult to keep bigger parks (that get skied more intensive) shaped properly? or is it just a matter of having enough snow/manpower ?

i mean that's cool and all i grew up skiing tahoe and i've hit alpine jumps before they are pretty awesome, but breck's are on another level. you barely need any speed to hit a 40 foot jump and land sweetspot and it never hurts your knees to hit those jumps.

like i said earlier, i don't care about your stupid east coast "i ride a tiny park at home" shit just like every fucking kid on this website, we ride here every single day of the week and dish out almost 500 a year to ride their dope park which isn't dope anymore, and it hurts our knees to land so flat. so when you start riding a place that claims to have one of the best parks in the nation you can start complaining too.

Bear Mtn won park of the year last year. (I think) You should see it now. Its fucking horrible. So many bros with backpacks on and no shirts sitting on the knuckles of jumps with their ugly ass girlfriends. And the jibs are bent and deterioirated. The biggest jump all season was 35 feet with a fucking flat landing. ): I hate Bear Mtn so much.
