Definitely an "apples to oranges" question. I say this because of the riders on each team and how the movies turn out every year. Stept has new, upcoming riders (apart from Martini and Jordan) who slay anywhere while 4bi9 has some upcoming guys, but also big time names like Wallisch and Harlaut (by the way, is he filming with him this year?). As far as movies go, they are pretty different. Stept always features crazy urban stunts, and so does 4bi9, but they also feature more park and backcountry. But in the end, they are both crazy crews who always produce great movies.

I agree with this so much. The stept crew is insanely innovative with there tricks but i think they o dont have enough people sending it off booters in some of their films.

from what i hear wait till u see the urban in 4bi's movie this year. but then again, i dont know anything about what stept is hitting. they always do some crazy shit. to the op, i cant choose between the crews

Both are crews containing shredders that are best friends that happen to make amazing ski edits/movies for us to enjoy. I'd say they are both great.

agreed, with some of the bigger film companies it feels like it is just a random mix of people filmed all over the world, while with these guys its really just the crew of homies that live, travel and ski together.

fuck 4bi9, apart from a select few riders like wallisch, dale, and henrik the rest of the crew is pretty lame. just a bunch of semi talented skeirs that started the companty that arent going anywhere. they hit less gnarly urban.

as for the booters, stept is primarly an urban crew and i can dig that, but this year they have been getting out in the backcountry alot. i know they went to both utah and jackson hole to shot powder this year.

stept ftw. they work harder ski better and party WAY harder than all those clowns at 4bi9

I'm loving the way that 4bi9 looks to be heading. Still staying thug, but incorporating some more diverse styling into their editing, using some alt/indie, changing the editing style up a bit, but sticking with the feel that makes it seem like a group of friends.

All they need is more Jeff Kiesel.
