So i live on the east coast and the season is ending this sunday and there is going to be rail jam for the occasion and i was wondering if i should go?
I would defenetly be outmatched. There are two categories "pro" and "amateur" and then age groups.
I can 270 on boxes and i started on rails last week, i can 270 off and blind270 off i almost land 450 off and can kinda switch up.
So i know im really not that good but my freind (wh o goes in "pro") is going and i want to go with him ( in "amateur") but i don't know if i should.
So NS what you thinkin'?
i dont know you are better than i was at 14, you sound actually really good for your age i say do it. and rail jams arent exactly the most stressful competitions. when you do it everyone will be throwing down and youll improve so it doesnt matter if you dont place. You will get better anyway, its a win-win
Who cares if you have any chance of winning? It will be a great experience, fun, and I'm guessing it will be your first comp since you're doubtful you can see how you compare to others. Go.
just go, don't expect much (no offense, but this is what i have done for every comp at my mountain this year. still haven't placed lol) and maybe you'll land a new trick or even get a prize, who knows? comps are fun and can help your progression a ton, it's not all about winnin
