Skiing Halfpipe Article on Yahoo

Yahoo just posted a new article on the six new events and for the 2014 Olympics and if you scroll down to the section about skiing halfpipe there this quote "So basically it's like snowboard halfpipe on skis? pass". They praise "groundbreaking relay competitions" but diss an equally competitive and exciting sport kind of ridiculous In my opinion,but just thought I would share this and see your opinions.

haha the description of slopestyle:

Yeah I realized it's probably the worst source of news for this kind of stuff, I just thought it was interesting how it was pawned off as just a clone of snowboard halfpipe

i presonoly dont think adding halfpipe skiing is a bad thing (the exact opposite acutely im glad its happening)but a comment like "routine of acrobatic jumps, flips, twists and other manuevers on a half-pipe" makes me cringe and rethink me position
