all right all right. I really like what i hear about Hood. But when i'm done skiing i don't want to go paintball or anything, but just chill and party. It sounds like that may be possible over there and i'm glad to hear it. Public Park sounds great in Hood, or some adult session even. Thanks for the insight.
About the ''being too old'' debate: my thread title was misleading. I don't want to infer that 24 is too old to ski park, otherwise i'd be depressed as shit. But when I see Windells or Momentum edits all summer long, where 12 year olds learn 360s and then go off the mountain to have a 12 hours long food fight, I question my fitting in. I'm really happy to learn from you guys that this perception was biased.
I'm 24, I work long hours as a doctor, but still most of the time I'm thinking about the next new move i'm going to pull on my next park sesh. I have come to think that this was just part of my identity, and independent of how old I was. Up to my injury last month, I was reaching a new peak each year, each session even. And i wish to keep on progressing when I'm back. Although I have to repeat that in Quebec, very few people my age still ski park with the same intensity as when they were 16 or 20.
Thx for your comments! I'm getting pumped about this summer now!
