Need help with computer program

Hey, I was just wondering what computer program is used to make something like the Propanganda adds and posters.
Like say for example the Burton adds in Transworld, what computer program would be used to make those. Also, is there something that takes slides and puts them directly onto your computer.
Like how do the magazines get the photos on the slides to their pages. Any info would be appreciated.

The program to get is Quark. Look on MacMall or whatever. You also need Adobe Photoshop.
MacMall also sells slide scanners - I have a Nikon 4000, but there are a lot of cheaper ones out there. For an ad or full page in FREEZE, however, you have to ge tthe slide drum scanned - costs between 40 and 100 dollars and can be done by a lot of print houses if you live in a big city.
