Congratulations to Kristaps Thompson! He's won himself an all-expense paid trip to Mammoth to ski in the sun at Jib Academy Finals with the Salomon team!
I had the pleasure of watching Kristaps ski at Momentum last summer, and was super stoked on him and blown away by his abilities at such at young age...and I can't wait to see him rip Mammoth's park a new one next month!
So once again, congratulations to Kristaps, along with the runner-up Alex Brown, who really brought the thunder and made it all the way to the final round, and will be rewarded for his efforts by Salomon with a new pair of skis and bindings for next season.
It was a really tough call for the Salomon team to pick between these two, but they couldn't have done it without your help, so on behalf of everyone at Salomon and Newschoolers, thanks to everyone who took the time to vote for their favorites in this contest, and thanks to Salomon for continuing to provide such an awesome opportunity for all the young up and comers in our sport!
