so i am looking at skis in the jj, bibby, s7 mold. two things are really important to me- that the length be at least 190+, and that the ski be fairly stiff (im 6'4" 210lbs with all my shit on and i sometimes charge hard). Ima use this ski as my daily driver as long as its not all ice, or 3-4ft of uncut fresh. i already have OG chronic blends, and OG ARG's for the end of the spectrum days. i ideally want the bibby in a 195+, or something in the 110's for better all condition handling.
and i realize there have been some halfway shitty threads on this in the past, but the searchbar sucks, and i will continue to bump this until i am satisfied with the answers.

Ideas:
191 ON3P Billy Goat
192 Atomic Bentchetler
196 Moment Bibby
193 Volkl Shiro
Rossignol soul 7.
189 K2 Seth
196 PMgear Lhasa pow
Folsom Gambit
I have skied most of those (not the Bibby, soul 7, Gambits, or Lhasa) and will vouch for all of them.
The Seth and the Chetler are the softer of the group, the chetlers having a more lively feel and the Seths having a damp feel. The Seth maye softer then what you want, but would be worth looking into.
The Shiro is a great ski, very predictable, and confidence inspiring. The shiro has a damper feel to it, and at first I thought it was dead until I started playing with it. Easy to move around in tight places. It handles speed well and eats up mank like a champ. This is a great heavy snow ski (Tahoe/Cascades/Coast Range).
The Lhasa sounds like a killer ski and there has been more enough said about this ski by people who know how to ski; check out TGR.
From what has been said so far the 196 Bibby sounds like a real solid ski. It might have more tip to tail taper then would be an ideal do all ski, but so did the original Billy Goat, and I loved that.
The soul7 looks promising, hopefully they give it a solid flex. Not much to say on this as information is lacking.
191 Billy Goat. This is what I came here to talk about. The best ski I have ever skied, this ski is going to explode next year. It blew me away with its ability to charge through and hold speed, but also change direction and pivot when needed. I see my self skiing this >80% of the time from here on out. The last few pages of the ON3P TGR thread have good discussion on the 191 Billy Goat from Scott, Myself, and a few others. Here I think is a good excerpt that describes the ski well:
"191 BG. It is definitely chargy enough, unlike any other ski I have skied of this 115-120 rockered tip/tail genre which I thought all had moderate speed limits and you had to be very active at speed to keep them under control. It'll be an excellent ski for Kicking Horse, enough float and versatility and stiffness to dominate all lines. What can I say, a big mountain charger that can be pivoted/schmeared and a light swing weight to be handled in tighter trees and chutes."

Spoke to a guy with a pair/felt the up and he's saying they have the same flex in the tip tail just stiffer under foot.

i would go with the bibby's. having ridden all three of these skis they were by far the most stable and most ideal in about every condition i skied them in. they make a 196 bibby next year but it has quite a bit of pintail and really likes to make huge turns. but the 190 is a great ski. if you want a bit more versatility in trees, tighter stuff and slower speeds i would choose the 190 no question.

i didnt know they were making a 191 BG, that was what was always keeping me away, the shortness.
i almost shat my pants when you said that moment was making a 196 bibby, but it looks like they are changing the shape on that ski, i really wish it would just be a longer version of the 190 bibby.
Im pretty sure the lhasa's are directional, which is a big negative, but honestly they might be worth it, as they tend to fit everything i need. Plus, im pretty sure theyre based outta tahoe, which is home sweet home on ski days. Plus i am a big time BRO at heart.
Right now im thinking BG, then Lhassas, then idk
