does anyone else use thier go pro for things other than skiing or biking, i was thinking of putting mine on the goaly for my lacrosse teams head during practice

I enjoy videoing stupid crap with mine, and I tried to use my GoPro while screwing around with some ball hockey stuff, the shots look cool when they're coming at the camera

quite recently someone posted a gopro ice hockey edit on here, it was sick as aids !

so far i've only used my gopro for kayaking, rockclimbing, diving, MTB, and cliffjumping (and skiing ofcourse)

i use it for wakeboarding a lot. it doesnt look that great though, because where you are looking on a wakeboard is rarely where you are going. also, my friend put on on the nose of hi surfboard, and that was wicked sick looking.

I've used mine when I went diving in cozumel and it was REALLY dope. I went to the "igloofest" with mine and a bunch of picture came out really good.

i use it when i play hockey, you can get some really good shots. at one point i wasnt even playing anymore, i was just skating around filming everyone and doing some follow cams on breakaways and shit it was awesome. i would post the edit but the file is at my moms place in toronto

saw a movie where they were filming a chase scene and put the gopro on a guy head for a POV shot, it was really sick, the movie sucked, don't even remember the name

Near where i live there is a huge lubrizol plant. The other day they had a mock-chemical accident test and i put a gopro on one of the guys involved....Its pretty cool.

The possibilities are endless, although this guy failed. Must be wearing ill-fitting tight shorts, black socks, sandels and a wife beater T. Intentionally avoid getting sun on your legs prior to footage so they look like hairy drinking straws.

i saw a thread a while ago where some kid wore one around school. i wanna do that at a party, that way you can remember everything and see all the funny shit that happens. although expensive camera + drunkenness/ other drunk people = probably not the best idea

Ive done it. Also put it on an attackman's head before, produced some hilarious results. Ill find the video when I get home from school.

The plan this year for lacrosse is to make a full length gopro lax documentary.. so far its looking hilarious.

i use my gopro for scuba diving. although with the standard housing which goes down to 150ft,it is not sharp throughout, but you can buy an underwater flat housing for $100 that goes down to 200ft and from the videos i have seen it looks sharp.

I've seen some really dumb videos, like people on motorcycles just filming driving on the highway, the sick ones are when its attached to the net or goal in some sport during a practice..

i went on a bunch of slides and shit at a swimming pool haha, and then took the head cam made it bigger and figured out you can wear it as a nut cam (stick each leg through holes) and make it face up at you, looks really cool!

They're quite common with RC flyers as well as mounted on full size aircraft.
