So i was thinking about getting a pair of Coreupts, because their designs are sick, but i've heard a lot of bad things about the company like tj, colby west, and gus kenworthy leaving the team and ive also heard they break easily. What are your thoughts on the company?
I think their decent skis. Justin dorey goes huge on his caspers. Don't now about durability though. Oh and their tip and tail height is ridiculous, their like half a foot high, lolz.
i have a pair of CoreUPT's Colby West "Urban Rise". They are preety nice park skis. The tail and tip aren't what ^^ he said. They're good skis for the price.
2. Don't base your decision to buy strictly on how they look.
3. Just because a pro leaves their team doesn't mean they aren't a good ski. Wallisch is still with Scott on skis he admits are terrible. More times than not, money is their reason for leaving.
I have tjs and i love them best park ski ever, durabilty is top notch on them too, the tips are pretty upturned but personally i think they look cool they kick up a mean rooster tail that way
I bought a pair of 188's in the outlet area (The ones w the hand flipping off) $300.00 with free bindings. I figured I had nothing to lose. Anyways the first day skiing colo a little icy, hard pack, thick crud in the trees these skis performed. I skied like I was 20 yrs old again. I'm 49. I was worried they wouldnt perform on the ice and hard pack (due to the wide design) but i couldnt have been more wrong. Very light weight and real responsive on anything I went on. Two days later bustin thru 3' of rocky powder, I think I blew a nut. I'm in love with these skis and will ski them in any conditions . These guys are legit and also sell direct to the public cutting out the middle man. I had these skis a week after I ordered them. Thank You Coreupt!! You have my full recommendation and I tell everyone I know that skis.
I completely agree with the above guy^ I bought a pair of 175 candide pows last year dirt cheap used them for a full season in Vermont was pretty satisfied with them as a good all mountain ski eventually got to try them in 26 inches of fresh powda and they were fucking awesome, I felt like I could hit just about anything. I know Coreupt had a bad launch but I think they're just continuing to get better year after year and they're one of the only reasonably priced companies. I say support em
