Summer set ups

im building a summer set up this year and i need to know what to use. for my box i have purchased plexy glass. is plexy glass slidy enough? or should i get thick plastic? for the fake "snow" should i get astra turf? or out door carpet? and what to make it slidy with like water ect....

astro turf, pvc, 2x4's, nails and dish detergent is all you need

hey you should search the "Build-a-jib 101" cult. they have all of you answers there. but you need a nice slope or drop in and astro turf with some snow fence should work. And i reccomend PVC pipes for a rail or box. Once again though, go join the "Build- a-jib 101" all your answers are there!

use pvc only if you dont plan to keep the setup for next summer. pvc cracks easily, and those cracks can mess up your skis/board. get some steel and fabricate it. i take shop at my school so im planning to make a rail out of steel pipes

For the turf, me and a couple friends went to a football field after dark and carried an extra piece off the side of the field into the back of my van. Best idea ive ever had

i used plastic with pvc coping. so far it's been really good, only the pvc did crack in a couple of places.

Dude I just built one with my dad today, its very very heavy but soo durable. Ill send you pics if you want. But plexi glass cracks very easily. Better off with HDPE or pvc.
