NS Photo Contest, Week 27

THIS IS AN ACTIVE PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST AND YOU ARE REQUIRED TO TAKE YOUR PHOTO WITHIN THE SUBMISSION TIMEFRAME. You have two weeks.

This weeks topic by vote

"Take a picture with a pineapple in it"

Dont give a fuck what the picture is about, as long as a pineapple is in it. You could be super boring, but classy, and set up a still life. Or you could be sitting on top of a street light throwing a pineapple at the frat guys below. As long as a pineapple as in the shot. – the[b]team

Haha, so have fun with it. Lets see who can be the most creative and hilarious.

-we will have a voting thread to determine the top 5, then we will vote again to find the winner
-post your own photos (no stealing! You will be banned from the contest)
-click on embedded photos before judging, NS sucks the life out of them
-winner chooses the next topic
-you cannot win 2 times in a row, you can win twice, just not in a row
-PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE go out and shoot! Do your best to not pull any files because it goes with the topic. We’re looking to have this be an active photography contest.

No it doesn't have to be real. I can't expect you to spend money on a pineapple just to take a picture. You can be as creative as you want, there just has to be a pineapple in the photo. Real or not.

Welp, I shot an album cover for a friend of mine... and got him to buy a pineapple because it totally belongs in the shot. Because it's gonna go on his album though (he produces techno) I am reluctant to post it on the internet... therefore, I'll put it up just before the contest ends, upload to NS so not too many people see it, and then take it down after voting ends (if that's cool with you, Ash)

You can post it in the cult (so its not public), link us in this thread, I'll post it in the voting threads, and it can be deleted after then if you want. Its totally your choice how you wanna do it, I'm ok with however.

There's my entry. The duck is a theremin, the first true "electronic" instrument. It generates an electric field with which the artist interacts to change the pitch of the tone. The guy who I shot it for is a friend of mine, and a techno producer- and he lives in Berkeley, which explains the fruits and veggies.

Jesus those colors look like shit, I swear I'm doing something wrong, NS kills colors but not that bad right? Clicking on it gives you the full colors.

For a bit yes....I haven't gotten around to sending out a mass message yet - sorry. But the last couple contests got maybe 6 entries. It used to get 20-50. Everyone is in school - so when summer break happens I'll start up again. I just don't like to put my time into it, to see [barely]nothing happen. It kinda sucks. Sorry I let go for a while...it was kinda nice having the break anyway.
