Creating a tshirt company

Hey guys! I am finnaly considering creating a tshirt company so the world can apprechiate my art, and dinos alike. I have alot of good ideas, but I have 4 that I want to make into t-shirts first, than expand. What are some things I should concider first, I mean other than buying a screen printer, creating a website, buying tshirts, .... Profit! Any help will give you karma. Thanks

Look at his pictures you asshole, they're really good. I know people that would buy those all over the place. And if he is in school, he doesn't have to quit. He can be a business owner and a student. Maybe you should stop assuming things and start knowing things.

well you guys are mean. I have created stickers for newschoolers and you have probably bought them. I am an art major, and a buisness major. I have saved up enough money to get this started. The photos in my profile are atleast 2 years old, i have become much better. once again any help is apprechiated such as where do i find tshirts that will be cheap, and fit right.

I'd say go to a local print or sew shop that stitches up ripped shirts, seams, seals, and prints logos. Ask them if they have blank tee shirts that are available whether you have to order them or not thats up to you but they should have some.

Im actually with you here, I'd love to make a shirt company cause I have the same thing.. I wouldnt say my art is amazing but its up there.. I have a shop around my town that I could always ask for you if your that interested.. Good luck!

get them printed at a local tshirt or embroider place (i got some done for 9 bucks each). become good friends with the guy who owns it and you could get a deal.
mark up the prices to something dece and sell
its not that hard.

make a business plan and get serious when the cash flow picks up.

all you need to start is a few tshirts and some demand for more.

one key thing is act professional

Find potential investors build off their investments, sell tshirts and calculate profit margin, then tell investors what your rate of return will be.

the thing i hate about all these new "companies" is most if not all of their designs are just their shitty logo blown up really big thrown on a shirt at some weird angle

If you want to make any money out of this, I HIGHLY suggest marketing out to print other peoples designs they want made. There are so many people out there who want to start a "clothing company" that need their shit printed, you said you already wanted to buy a screen printer so go with like a 5 station printer and advertise as a screen printer aswell. A guy I know does it, and basically you can print your own designs for free with all the extra t-shirts when you make an order.
