University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario and I try to go up north like once a week, but its super hard when they decide to put all exams on the weekends :( University sucks

Washington. I ski at alpental/snoqualmie mostly, and have been up about six times. I'm too busy drumming, and mostly just go up on pow days.

ERAU in prescott, Arizona (SUCK beyond belief) and once a week up at snowbowl but luckly i can fly standby free and have friends in rodo so i got a summit pass so i canfly up there once a month to go. Im from RI

Bates College about 2 to 3 times a week skied a little more than 40 days this year. Its an effort though, no one here skis park.

Mad River. It is like 45 minutes from campus, has capital park and people from OSU Ski Team are always there.

People who jump a lot pack and own their own rigs, so it's only about $20 a jump depending on where you go.

I went to CSU and majored in public relations and skiied about 30-40 days a year, but my BF (Smail) skis at least 50 days a year and he is a Civil Engineering student at the Air Force Academy.

Time management goes a long way, if you can't get more than a few hours of free time every week you are really doing something wrong.

nah dude mad river mountain. its 45min away and has an amazing terrain park. like 30+ jib features and 4-5 jumpline most of the time. hit me up with any Q's about OSU, i am an officer on OSU ski team so i could probably answer any of ur Q's

Doesn't UC Davis have a ski team?  They did when my buddy was there.  If you join, you probably pay about 400 dollars at the beginning of the year, which gives you access to a house in Tahoe for the whole season.  Some weekends the house would have about 30 people living there, but that was part of the fun of it.  I would definitely look into that.

I wen to the University of California in Santa Barbara.  We had a ski team, similar to the one at Davis.  We had a house in Mammoth each winter, and an early season pass was 600$.  I would usually try to schedule tues-thurs classes for the winter quarter, which I was able to do.  I would get one two day weekend, and one three day weekend, each month.  Additionally, I would usually get 5-8 days of skiing xmas break, and another 5-8 spring break.  It worked out to 30 days a year, about all of them at Mammoth.  I knew other people who did even more, you just have to be willing to drive a lot.

I was a statistics major, so I had a lot of studying to do.  It was about budgeting time, and getting those tues-thurs schedules for the winter.  I was usually able to do that.  Also, when you are doing 2 weekends a month the strain is not as bad as 3 days a week, so school is manageable.

If you want to ski 2-3 weekends a month UCSB/USC/UCLA/Berkeley/Davis/Stanford are all workable, due to the ski team situation.  I know some people won't like to hear this, but I would rather ski Mammoth/Tahoe 5-6 days a month than anywhere in Vermont 8 days a month.  If you want to ski 3 days a week, I would go somewhere like U of Utah.

What are you planning on taking at school? That will directly effect how often you can ski. Art = always (but you don't get a job after) Business = sometimes ( providing you manage your time) and Science. Peace out skiing. See you in 4 years.

I got to UNBC and ski 4-6 times per week. I am a Commerce Major (business)

Actually I stayed away from PK this season for the most part. Place is wack. 55 bucks for a lift pass for shitty skiing. I skied at Troll which is 1.5 hrs from PG. 22 bucks for a lift pass with steep pow and a decent park.

Boise State. Pol-sci and econ major. Only get MAYBE one day a week at bogus basin, earlier i've gotten up to Tamarak and brundage a few days and winter break i went home and went almost everyday, then on spring break i had an absolute sick ski road trip with my buddies (schweitzer, mount spokane, mission ridge, stevens pass, snoqualmy, timberline lodge)

I have paid as little as 5 bucks for a jump. once you own your gear all you pay is for a seat on the plane. right now it is 19 bucks a jump not 200. And I do have 150K in student loans.

UC Davis, and as an undergrad I would block my schedule up so I could get a weekday or two in, plus I went up almost every weekend. I still go up every weekend, but vet school is too busy for me to go up midweek (except during winter or spring break). It's just a matter of time management-I get a lot of skiing in but I always bring my work with me so I can study too when I'm in Tahoe.

 i worked in rentals it was my first year but i'm definately coming back next season. U of U sounds pretty rad.
anyways i'm from the cincy area and i'm out here at keystone for spring break. today me and my dad went on a tour of CU, it was an alright school but i realized that if i'm gonna pay out-of-state tuition just to ski i dont wanna go somewhere that's 2 hours away from the big resorts. ohio state's my #1 choice right now i guess
