allow me to tell you a little story about the kyoto protocal. it would impose environmental controlls on the developed nations of the world, like the US, while givig a free pass to developing nations like india and china. if this were to have happened, what then? well, ill tell you what then. we would be even less able to compete for the type of manufacturing jobs that are already flocking to those nations, because we would have to be following the aforementioned sanctions and controlls, thus increasing production cost, making the goods produced in america more expensive to the buyer, while the aforementioed developing nations, who are responsible for a ton of the worlds pollution would get off scot free.

if this would have happened you would be writing a post crying about the outsourcing of american jobs instead of an unsigned enviornmental agreement.

My response was more to the title of the post rather then the quote, the quote gave me a 'meh.'
