"A 12-year-old schoolgirl in the Netherlands gave birth to a baby during a school trip.
According to local health services, neither the girl nor her family realized she was pregnant and there were no external signs to show it. A spokesman for the health services said that they did not have any information on how many months pregnant the girl had been.
The girl from Groningen in the Netherlands was on a day out on Tuesday last week with her classmates when she began to feel violent stomach pains. A supervisor was alerted to the situation and called the emergency services.
When the ambulance arrived, they saw that the girl was at the point of giving birth and helped to facilitate the procedure in a nearby building, where she gave birth to a healthy baby girl."
