Mounting my skis

so i have the 03 tweaks, with the grey and all that good shit, not the blue ones. so when my parents got me the skis they came with the R:412's on them so i was thinkin shitty but whatever ill ride them for a season, their mounted as far back as they can be, because the shop is gay and thats what they do. I just recently got the s912's, my question is should i mount them at the centerline or should i mount them as far forward as the beta channels allow me to. their mounted pretty far back right now, I'm thinkin i want them forward but im not sure, any suggestions?

Aren't you looking for a new ski? I thought I remembered you hunting for a pair of 4-FRNT's or Ninthwards a month ago. In that case I would save the s912's for those, but if you are putting them on your Tweaks...mount them forward of where they recommend, because shops have a habit of eliminating any tail whatsoever (as they did on my 03/04 Tweaks). However, depending on how you use them I would not mount them core center. Maybe +3 from center, eye it and make sure you have enough tail, and go with the nearest mounting point to that.

yeah i was gonna get new skis, but i decided ill wait till the end of next season, so i jumped on the idea of gettin the bindings.
