I was the DP and director on this a little while ago and thought some may find the production behind it interesting. It's fun to see how stuff is shot, you can always learn something new.
7d with an 18mm Zeiss compact prime. The camera was rigged to pull focus, monitor, and pan and tilt the head all from the ground.
I was shooting at f5.6 so the focus on this was somewhat tricky, but it was a fun challenge.
A little better view of the rig. A small motor was mounted to the dolly and the speed was controlled with a motion controller. We timed it out so the camera would end up in the same spot every time.
The song is hit or miss with people, some dig it, others don't.
