Moment Reno Jib vs Solomon Suspects

I recked my old park skis and can't decide what to get for my new ones. I really like moment and want to get the jibs but i heard that they are really stiff. I have heard a lot of good things about both Moment and Solomon.

jibs hands down and i've never skied either. and before I'm flamed, you should all know the reason why you don't buy suspects.

Moment Jibs fore shure.. Durabillity is so much higher and they really are not that stiff..

The 2011 suspects are a good bit stiffer than the 2011 reno jibs. The jibs rails will deffinatly hold up better than the suspects but another option is the pipe pro's without the edge armor. But if your worried about getting a ski that's too stiff the jibs should be fine. But there is still alot of better skis out there than those 2.

I'm not sure what everyone is talking about, as far as the durability of the suspects? My friend has them, and he's had them all year, skiing 40 + days on them, and skiing super hard, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with them. 0 edgecracks, zero delams, 0 gouges, nothing. Like I said, he's skied them hard, in every condition since he only has one pair of skis, and they seriously look brand new. The topsheet's aren't even scratched?

go with next years 2011/2012 season moment vise it is one of the the sickest ski they have ever made. or the jib of that year is awsome too

Reno Jibs are better than suspects... but so is basically every other park ski on the market today.

I call bullshit on that. If you are skiing super hard, hitting tons of rails everyday, you are bound to get edge cracks. On my Reno Jibs I have 2 edge cracks on 1 ski, and 1 on the other. For the last 3 days I've been skiing rails only since our jumps were closed. I've got a good 30 days on my skis and the only thing wrong is the topsheets (my fault) and edge cracks (also my fault). Buy the Reno Jibs. I was sketched out when I first rode them because of the flex, but after a few days you will fucking love these skis.

Actually, you're correct about the rails part. That is the one type of skiing that he does not do all the time. That being said, even if he doesn't ski them the most, he definitely kills it on the rails, every other day or so.

Well this is untrue.... I have a pair of jibs that are 2 years old.... got edge cracks and topsheet damage but they still have A LOT of pop.
