It's been a looooong season of learning to shoot and edit on my own without any prior experience. I'm pretty happy with how the first two episodes turned out.
This was never intended to have anything to do with "New school" or "Park" skiing. It's about the backcountry, and that first turn of the day you take and how that feeling stays with you til the sun goes down. The feeling is exactly the same, regardless of whether you're skiing, snowboarding or sledding.
I wanted to show NS something different, a little piece of my winter and the amazing sights and snow we have experienced out here along with unique perspectives and areas that most resort skiers would never see.
I hope you guys enjoy something a little different, and I am looking for feedback, as this was my first season shooting or editing. (You'll notice towards the end of the 2nd episode the camera doesn't shake anymore, I got a tripod finally!)
